A Trip to England

When I was in high school, a friend of mine and I decided we just had to go to England. We proposed traveling by ourselves: our mothers disagreed (we were just 14 years old). We did go to England, with our moms, that summmer. If you can't beat them, have them join you!

I took far too many slides, and have scanned the better ones. They are divided up into albums.

Kew Gardens.

Bath, Warwick, and Stratford.

London, Greenwich Observatory, and Hampton Court

I have scanned these using a PowerSlide 3600, a multiple slide scanner made in Germany. It is a fairly slow process; it takes about 2 hours to scan 50 slides, but it is automatic. The downside of this scanner is it has no built in dust and scratch removal.
Despite my aversion to photoshopping my photographs, I have used the "noise" filter on many of these photographs because they are quite dusty. A very few have been cropped from their original dimensions.
