The band around the forehead is yet another kerchief
Fold a square in half diagonally. Starting from the folded edge, roll/fold it up toward the doubled point in about 1" widths until it is almost all folded into a band. Leave the last inch or two of the kerchief unfolded to make the point. I have not decided if I like the point to come from the backside of the band or the front.
